Two hours are allowed for this mock paper.

The question paper consists of 15 short answer questions. You should answer ALL questions.

The paper carries a total of 130 marks.

Read carefully the questions and information provided. You are strongly advised to attempt ALL questions to gain maximum possible marks for each question. The number of marks allocated to each question is given next to the question and you should spend your time in accordance with that allocation.

It is important that you show all steps in a calculation, even if you have used a calculator.

Subject to providing sufficient detail, you are advised to be as brief and as concise as possible, using note format and short sentences on separate lines wherever possible.


USING WIZARD LEARNING

Self marked paper

• Type in your answers and then click next.
• Your answer is then displayed opposite the model solution with the marks available for each correct answer shown in brackets.
• Check your answer against the model solution, total up your marks and enter the total score in the "my score" box.
• We also recommend that you keep a note of how long it takes to answer each question to make sure that you keep within the 2 hour time limit allowed in the actual exam.
• After you mark the final question the results page is displayed and shows your total score, percentage and whether you passed or failed.
• All your answers and scores are saved and can be viewed by clicking on the "my account" link from the menu at any time.
• You can take this paper as many times as you want.
• Your result is stored on your CPD certificate and two hours CPD time is allocated every time the paper is taken. You can view your CPD certificate from the "CPD certificate" link on the menu.
• You can exit the system part way through the paper and when you next login you will start at the same question that you existed on.

Assessor marked paper

• We recommend that you take the self marked paper first and will therefore be familiar with the system when taking the assessor marked paper.
• With this paper you type in your answers, you can also navigate back and forward through the paper make alterations to your answers.
• After completing the final question a Wizard Learning assessor will be notified. The assessor will then mark your paper on the system and provide feedback beside each question where appropriate.
• The assessor will email you when your paper has been marked. You will then be able to log in and view your results, your answers, the model answers and any assessor comments.
• If we have not contacted you within 7 working days please contact us and we will advise a target completion date. Note we expect to be very busy in the run up to the April and October exams so please aim to complete this assessment at LEAST two weeks before your exam.
• You can only take the assessor marked paper once. As with the self marked paper you can review your marked paper from the "my account" link on the menu.
• After the assessor has marked your paper 2 hours of CPD time and your result is added to your CPD certificate.

NOTE
The number of questions, marks available and time allowed are the same as are in the actual diploma exam. In the actual exam you will be using a pen and paper but other than that we have designed the mock papers to be as close to the real thing as possible.
